The Weatherford Company is the only Austin tool store making custom band saw blades. These saw blades are made in a wide variety of widths and lengths from Morse brand blade stock. We recommend high-carbon steel for cutting wood, and our extremely tough bi-metal blades for long lasting performance when cutting many types of metal. Every blade we make begins with U.S. made, Morse brand stock which is carefully measured and cut to the required length. Next we weld the blade into an endless band using our industrial-quality blade welder. Finally, we carefully smooth the weld on both sides at our dedicated blade grinding station, insuring that every new blade we make tracks as smoothly as possible over the wheels and through the saw guides. Morse is famous for its long lasting bi-metal blades for reciprocating saws, but Morse blade stock for band saws is made in the U.S.A. with equal quality, with the finest materials and craftsmanship.
